Women4Women

Women4Women, a ministry for women, offers opportunities of growth, healing and fellowship.
Our goal is to equip women with life changing direction and wholeness.
Our dream is to enable every woman to live their life to their fullest through hope in God.
How do we do this?
- We offer a recovery program for women who have suffered the trauma of sexual abuse.
- We provide opportunities for socialising and fellowship in a supportive environment.
- We run dedicated programs to engage in God’s Word through women only Bible study groups.
Door of Hope Program
“I was astounded that a course could and did provide so much relief, understanding and insight to not only my past, but where I am going and how I am going to get there!”
Door of Hope is an inspirational program for women, which aids women in their recovery from the devastation of sexual abuse.
The ten week course will enable participants to develop new strategies for living and find healing from the struggles of life.
The issues explored include powerlessness and empowerment, aspects of shame and guilt, being loved and restoration of trust and how to build positive relationships.
The first course commences on February 18th and registrations are now closed. A further course will be made available in May.

Focus
Focus stands for Fellowship, Outreach, Connecting, Uplifting and Support.
An open invitation is extended to all women, to join us for a time of worship, learning, fun and relaxation.
We aim to provide an atmosphere for women to develop their gifts, to form lasting relationships, build spiritual wholeness through prayer and study of God’s Word.
Focus offers an opportunity to meet new people and to share in God’s Word in a relaxed environment.
Our first meeting for 2008 will be on Wednesday 20th February at 6.30pm in the Stewart Room.
We will be running a six part series on JUST GIVE ME JESUS!
This is an open invitation to all women of all ages and from all backgrounds. Bring your friends along to hear this exciting message.
Please join us on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of each month from 6.30 - 8.30pm in the Stewart Room, Level C1, Wesley Mission, 220 Pitt Street, Sydney.

Search for Life
A ten week course which offers participants the opportunity to discover the truth about how God sees them and learn that in His eyes they are incredibly valuable and significant. The course address commonly held misbeliefs and gives strategies for change.
Other courses
The Facilitators training program looks at issues of theology, practical group skills, as well as the core issues involved in recovery: family systems, self esteem, grief and loss, defence mechanisms, how healing comes. Read more.
